Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical data center infrastructure, including generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, cooling systems, and fire/life safety equipment.

You will work across multiple sites, monitor BMS/EPMS, and support contractors while ensuring 24/7 reliability. This frontline role requires physical ability to lift, climb, travel between locations, and operate within strict safety and change-management

Competenze

2+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends.
Ability to climb, crawl, and work at heights as required in data center environments.
Ability to travel between data center locations as needed.

Mansioni

Perform daily rounds monitoring electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLAs.
Install and decommission racks per SLA.
Perform preventive maintenance and root cause analysis on electrical/mechanical equipment.
Provide on-site support to contractors and vendors in accordance with procedures.
