Job summary
Hitachi Energy USA Inc. seeks a Data Centers System Segment Lead in a hybrid, full-time role based in Raleigh, NC. You will drive the system-level strategy for data centers and AI factories, coordinating with global teams and partners to define value propositions and roadmaps.
The role requires 10+ years in product/portfolio leadership, strong grid and power electronics knowledge, and proven leadership by influence in matrix environments. Fluency in English is essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Power Systems, Business or related field.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification is a plus.
- 10+ years in product management, portfolio leadership, or related roles.
- Experience with hyperscalers, AI infra providers, or similar ecosystems.
- Global cross-functional leadership proven in matrix organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Data Centers and AI Factories team, own governance and escalation.
- Oversee commercial and tendering execution of non-transactional systems.
- Collaborate with BUs and Hitachi Energy Marketing & Sales to define system value.
- Enhance pipeline and business growth offerings for solutions.
- Define system level roadmap with Product Management and drive innovation.
