Job summary

Trilyon Inc. is seeking a Systems Design Engineer to join our on-site Lab/Data Center team in Santa Clara. You will handle complex HW/SW issues, root-cause analysis, and hardware replacements, ensuring high availability of platforms with GPUs and HPC components.

The role requires strong debugging skills, Linux proficiency, and experience with JIRA ticketing. Travel to AMD labs may be required, and the shift is roughly 8am–5pm on weekdays.

Qualifications

• Experience debugging HW/SW issues in data center environments.
• Ability to diagnose GPU/firmware/OS problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication for ticketing and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage tickets via JIRA from intake to resolution.
• Debug platforms and systems; perform root-cause analysis.
• Monitor lab and data-center for outages and issues.
• Collaborate with vendors, ODMs, OEMs; communicate updates clearly.
• Install/replace hardware; run and interpret automated scripts.
