Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Telecommunication Project Lead to design and lead low‑voltage systems for data centers, including structured cabling, wireless, and AV. You’ll guide BIM designers, prepare DIV 27 specs, conduct site visits, and review docs while coordinating with project managers and clients.

You’ll bring 4+ years in telecom cabling design, knowledge of ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards, Navisworks familiarity, and strong PM skills. This is a hybrid U.S.

Qualifications

• Technical or associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience actively designing or leading designs for Telecommunications structured cabling systems.
• Familiarity with ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70 and how it applies to telecom structured cabling systems.

Responsibilities

• Leading BIM designers in preparation of engineering drawings.
• DIV 27 specification creation or modification.
• Conduct site visits.
• Review technical documents.
• Mentor junior staff and manage stakeholder relationships.
