Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Telecommunication Project Lead to design and lead data center low‑voltage systems, coordinating BIM drawings, site visits, and stakeholder reviews.

Requires 4+ years in structured cabling, ANSI/TIA and BICSI knowledge, NFPA70 familiarity, and Navisworks experience. Hybrid US work model with multiple offices nationwide; base salary range $91,000–$130,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Technical or associate’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience designing or leading telecommunications structured cabling.
• Familiarity with ANSI/TIA, BICSI, and NFPA 70 standards.
• Experience with BIM and Navisworks is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with project managers, clients, and other disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM designers in producing engineering drawings and DIV 27 specs.
• Conduct site visits and review technical documents.
• Mentor junior staff and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee budgets and project schedules; mitigate risks.
