Job summary

Jacobs in the United States (hybrid) seeks a Telecommunication Project Lead to design and manage data center cabling, wireless, AV and other low‑voltage systems, leading BIM designers and coordinating with clients and vendors to deliver projects on time. You’ll conduct site visits, review technical docs, create or modify DIV 27 specifications, and mentor junior staff while managing risk and schedules.

A technical or associate’s degree and 4+ years in telecom design are required, with Navisworks

Qualifications

• Technical or associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience actively designing or leading designs for Telecommunications structured cabling systems.
• Thorough knowledge of ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards.
• Familiarity working with Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Leading BIM designers in preparation of engineering drawings.
• DIV 27 specification creation, or modification.
• Conduct site visits
• Review technical documents
• You will also learn from more senior team leaders and will be mentored.
• Managing the relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
