Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an Assistant Project Manager - Structural - Data Center to support execution of large-scale data center construction programs. You will partner with PMs, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to manage documentation, budgets, schedules, procurement, and coordination.

The role emphasizes hands-on delivery of mission-critical projects, with growth opportunities across complex facilities and strong emphasis on quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction experience with a general contractor or specialty contractor.
• Experience supporting commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or structural construction projects.
• Exposure to data centre construction is highly preferred.
• Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with the administration of structural construction projects from startup through closeout.
• Support budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Assist with procurement activities and material tracking.
• Monitor project schedules and help identify potential delays.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates.
• Support quality control and project compliance efforts.
• Assist with project turnover and closeout documentation.
• Help maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners.
