Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical division in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Division Sales Engineer to join our team. This hybrid role offers 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, with relocation assistance available within the US.

You will provide pre-sales technical and quotation support for CPS product lines including UPS, power distribution, batteries, and monitoring to data center customers and Global Accounts. Responsibilities include maintaining deep product knowledge, reviewing RFQs and DTRs in Bid

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, engineering or business from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 1 year of experience within a manufacturing environment.
Experience in electrical industry.
Knowledge of UPS, power distribution, batteries and monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

Provide pre-sales technical and quotation support for data center sales and agents.
Maintain technical and commercial product knowledge for CPS product lines.
Review RFQ and DTRs in Bid Manager and apply pricing authority.
Configure non-standard product configurations in Bid Manager.
Meet or exceed sales volume and margin objectives for the territory.
Explain product documentation to engineers and contractors for correct application.
Create battery calculations to support runtime solutions.
Support area sales managers with technical assistance and pricing strategy.
Participate in scope review meetings and pre-sales discussions with customers.
