Job summary

Eaton is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer in Raleigh, NC for hybrid work (3 days on site, 2 remote). You will provide sustaining engineering for power conversion products, analyze complex issues, document changes, and lead testing to ensure performance and reliability.

Relocation assistance is available within the US. The role requires an Electrical Engineering degree with 2–3+ years of relevant experience and familiarity with power electronics, testing equipment, and cross-functional

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 years of experience in electrical/electromechanical products.
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 2 years of experience in electrical/electromechanical products.

Responsibilities

Provide sustaining engineering support for released electrical and electromechanical power conversion products and accessories.
Independently analyze complex technical issues related to product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and quality.
Evaluate and support engineering changes for released products.
Review and maintain advanced engineering documentation (drawings, specs, BOMs).
Support obsolescence management, including component substitutions or design alternatives.
Perform testing to verify performance against specifications.
Contribute to VAVE activities including cost-reduction ideas and design-for-manufacture improvements.
Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams in manufacturing, supply chain, quality and service.
