Job summary

Google Inc. is seeking a Data Center Site Negotiator to identify locations and build relationships with landowners, energy and telecom providers, and government officials to secure data center sites.

You will lead purchase and service agreement discussions, manage compliance, and drive cost-effective infrastructure development. You will collaborate across teams to expand existing regions, track milestones, and present recommendations to leadership while navigating complex regulatory and market

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience negotiating and structuring agreements or leading business development.
• 6 years of experience in real estate development, evaluation, acquisition, construction, and site selection for industrial-scale data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal and external teams to identify, define, and pursue new site expansion projects and initiatives for Google's data center needs.
• Monitor progress against objectives with regular status reports and advocate financial metrics for portfolio decisions.
• Manage strategy for ongoing growth at existing regions and sites.
• Develop metrics for mapping and tracking portfolio management issues regarding site/infrastructure development.
• Foster an open workplace for colleagues in day-to-day interactions and conversations.
