Job summary

Digital Realty seeks a Site Engineer II to join the Data Center Operations team in Houston. You will contribute to daily site operations, maintain mission critical systems, and support change management, incident reporting, and SOP development to ensure high availability.

You will work with electrical/mechanical disciplines, relying on CMMS and DCIM tools to monitor and improve site performance, and participate in safety and accreditation programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mission critical facilities operating/engineering or equivalent equipment experience including UPS, HVAC, generators, fire/life safety systems.
• Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill with competence in the area of non-expertise.
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems and architectures; cooling systems and architectures.

Responsibilities

• Understand facility layout and operation of MEP systems and illustrate site one-lines with accuracy.
• Create and modify site operating procedures; manage change management tickets; prepare incident reports.
