Job summary

Digital Realty seeks a Site Engineer I to join the Data Center Operations team at one of our Virginia data center properties. You will contribute to daily site operations, troubleshooting mission critical systems, and ensuring high availability under the supervision of the Manager Engineering Operations.

Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating SOPs, managing CMMS work orders, responding to incidents, and supporting the operation, maintenance, and repair of UPS, generators, HVAC,

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill and competence in non-expertise areas.
• Experience with mission critical facilities and equipment (UPS, HVAC, generators, fire/life safety).
• Strong knowledge of CMMS and DCIM concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot and respond to incidents in a 24x7 data center environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to daily site operation and update SOPs.
• Create and manage change management tickets and incident reports.
• Maintain and inspect data center equipment to ensure high availability.
• Assist in supervision of construction activities and site safety requirements.
