Job summary

Jacobs Solutions Inc. in Spartanburg, SC is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join our Project Controls team supporting large-scale data center projects.

This on-site role will develop, maintain, and report integrated schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and closeout. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of data center or mission-critical scheduling experience, advanced Primavera P6 skills, and a proven ability to drive schedule risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of project scheduling experience on mission-critical facilities or large-scale industrial projects.
• Experience with commissioning-intensive projects and data centers is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and schedule risk analysis.
• Strong EPC/EPCM project execution understanding and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud.
• Coordinate with commissioning and startup teams to create turnover plans.
• Analyze schedule impacts from changes in scope, design, procurement, or construction.
• Lead planning meetings and drive stakeholder alignment on schedule status.
• Establish WBS, coding structures, and governance for schedules.
• Validate logic, durations, constraints, calendars, and critical path activities.
• Provide progress updates, forecasts, variance analyses, and schedule health checks.
• Support IAP sessions and pull-planning workshops.
• Generate schedule reports and dashboards for leadership and clients.
• Communicate schedule performance, risks, and recovery options in client meetings.
