Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to empower Data Center Account Managers and sales teams to move quickly and accurately. You will drive pre-sales activities, quotes, booking coordination, and forecasting while upholding policies and ensuring a smooth customer experience.

In this role, you will manage opportunities in Salesforce, coordinate approvals, support quarterly reviews, and mentor Inside Sales Trainees.

• Sound business judgment and timely decision-making within defined authority.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage opportunities in Salesforce for pre-sales support.
• Generate accurate quotes and estimates, including change orders.
• Lead internal/external meetings to clarify requirements and ensure quoting accuracy.
• Assist in collecting required customer documentation.
• Obtain customer approvals or purchase orders and coordinate internal approvals.
• Own day-to-day booking coordination and escalate exceptions as needed.
• Maintain updated opportunities in Salesforce to support forecasting.
• Present sales support updates during quarterly customer reviews.
