Job summary

The Boldt Company is seeking a Safety Manager I to lead safety on data center construction projects across the field. You will partner with project managers, superintendents, and craft professionals to embed a proactive safety culture that blends safety with productivity.

In this role, you’ll influence decisions from planning through execution, drive incident investigations, and deliver targeted safety training to sustain high performance and operational excellence on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience.
• 5-7 years of construction and/or industrial safety experience.
• Experience leading safety initiatives on large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, or data center construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard recognition, incident investigation, risk mitigation, and construction safety best practices.
• Experience conducting jobsite safety audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
• Ability to collaborate with project managers, superintendents, trade partners, craft professionals, and clients to create and maintain a proactive safety culture.
• Experience developing and delivering safety training programs related to fall protection, confined space, respiratory protection, equipment operation, and other high-risk construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety decisions and establish safety standards from planning through execution on mission-critical projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, craft professionals, trade partners, and clients to foster a proactive safety culture.
• Support data center construction initiatives with a focus on safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Balance field presence with reporting requirements and project demands while traveling to active sites as needed.
