Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an Infrastructure Repair Technician for our fast-paced data center environment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and replace server hardware, storage and network devices, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive resolutions.

Responsibilities include incident management, root cause analysis, documentation, and maintaining equipment inventory. A 24x7 schedule with up to 15% travel and lifting up to 40 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Flexibility for 24x7x365 schedule and travel up to 15%.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues on servers, storage, and network devices.
• Perform repairs and component replacements (GPU, CPU, motherboard, HDD/SSD, switches, routers, firewalls).
• Manage tickets and document work in ticketing systems.
• Participate in root cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor and maintain data center equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain inventory of devices, spare parts, and RMAs.
• Participate in on-call rotation and travel as needed.
