Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an Infrastructure Repair Technician to support our data center operations. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair server hardware, storage, and network devices, while documenting work in the ticketing system and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 2+ years in hardware and networking, strong problem-solving abilities, and the physical capacity to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues on servers, storage, and network devices.
• Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components (GPU, CPU, motherboard, drives, switches, routers).
• Manage and close tickets with accurate documentation.
• Conduct root cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor ticketing systems and repair requests in data center.
• Maintain inventory of devices and spare parts.
• Participate in on-call rotation and travel as needed.
• Ensure safety procedures and compliance.
