Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an Infrastructure Repair Technician to maintain data center operations in Temple, TX. You will diagnose and repair servers, storage, and network hardware, while collaborating with engineers to resolve complex issues and escalate as needed.

The role requires 2+ years of hardware and networking experience, a strong technical foundation, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. A flexible, 24x7 schedule and on-call rotations are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Strong technical background in hardware and network devices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds in a data-center environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware problems on servers, storage, and network devices.
• Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components (GPU, CPU, motherboard, drives, switches, routers).
• Manage and close tickets with clear documentation.
• Support root cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Monitor queues and tickets, document work, and maintain records.
• Inventory management for devices and spare parts; handle RMA equipment.
• Participate in ongoing training and adhere to safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders; participate in on-call rotation.
