Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Data Center Engineering Technician to support mission-critical facilities across AWS data centers. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and coordinate with vendors.

The role requires travel between sites, up to 12-hour shifts, and on-call rotations to ensure continuous uptime. You will join a diverse team of engineers and specialists, upholding safety standards and cost-efficient operations while contributing

Qualifications

2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience.
2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Perform daily rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and EPMS.
Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLAs.
Install and decommission racks within internal SLA.
PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of equipment.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors on-site per procedures.
