Amazon Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to safeguard and maintain mission-critical facilities, including diesel generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, and cooling systems.

You will perform technical maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements to ensure high uptime and safety across AWS data centers. The role involves on-site work with travel between sites, flexible hours including nights and weekends, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet strict service levels

Formación

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Work a flexible work schedule including evenings, overnights, and weekends.
• 1+ years of electrical facilities maintenance, or 1+ years of mechanical facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment for 24/7 reliability.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within SLAs.
• Perform rack installs/decommissioning within SLA.
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
