Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facilities, including standby generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, and cooling systems.

You will work on the front line of electrical and mechanical maintenance to ensure high reliability and uptime in a fast-paced environment. Role requires ability to travel between data center sites as needed and willingness to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and

Qualifications

• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience in data center or mission-critical facilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with building management or power monitoring systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily rounds monitoring electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment to ensure 24/7 reliability.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal SLA.
• Perform rack installs and rack decommissioning within internal SLA.
• PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
