Job summary

Flexential is seeking a Critical Infrastructure Engineer II to sustain 99.999% uptime across designated data centers. You will maintain electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, manage vendor relationships, and provide hands-on training to the Data Center Technician team.

Qualifications

• 2 years of data center experience.
• 4+ years performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience with building automation systems.
• 4+ years in a critical infrastructure environment.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical data center systems ( feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS, ATS, PDU, chillers, pumps, AHUs, CRAH units).

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 on-call support for data center operations.
• Monitor and maintain mission-critical equipment to meet 99.999% uptime.
• Read blueprints and engineering specs to support maintenance and projects.
• Drive operational excellence and change control through proactive improvements.
• Assist in disaster recovery dry runs and commissioning efforts.
• Prepare MOPs and SOPs for maintenance and operations.
• Maintain AHJ and safety compliance; manage vendor relationships.
• Assist with power provisioning and off-hours maintenance as required.
• Generate utilization and space/power reports.
• Perform facility rounds and ensure cleanliness.
