Job summary

Flexential Corp. is seeking a Critical Infrastructure Engineer II to maintain 24x7 data center operations and uphold 99.999% uptime across assigned facilities. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, and train DCTs as needed.

Key duties include on-call response, vendor management, and creating procedures to ensure safe, compliant operations while supporting disaster recovery and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data center experience and 4+ years in infrastructure environments.
• Experience with building automation systems.
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical data center systems (feeders, transformers, generators, UPS, PDU, chillers, AHUs).
• Applicable military experience
• Applicable trade experience

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 facility on-call support.
• Monitor and maintain mission-critical equipment to achieve 99.999% uptime.
• Vendor relationship management and coordination.
• Read blueprints, engineering specs, and project plans.
• Assist in disaster recovery exercises and commissioning.
• Maintain AHJ requirements and change windows.
• Assist with power provisioning and off-hours maintenance.
• Prepare MOPs and SOPs for maintenance activities.
