Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Data Center Installer to work on-site at client facilities in Fayetteville, AR, building and configuring cloud infrastructure by installing server racks and cabling. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and high-quality service, with regular coordination with managers and teams.

The position requires physical ability to lift heavy loads, travel as needed, and use hand and power tools. Strong organizational skills and experience with cabling and MS Office are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 60–80 pounds with safe technique.
• Experience installing structured cabling (fiber and copper).
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Willingness to travel for business.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Teams and email.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at clients' sites on time with required equipment, uniform, procedures and PPE.
• Unload/unpack and position IT hardware (server racks) using power tools.
• Cable server racks by patching and dressing fiber and copper cables.
• Provide professional customer service at all times with clients and colleagues.
• Follow client procedures including health, safety and security requirements.
• Communicate with managers, planners, team leaders and supervisors about schedules and delays.
• Complete daily checklists and generate reports on activities performed.
• Perform additional duties as required by skills and competencies.
