Job summary

Arvato is hiring a Data Center Technician to support installation and upkeep of cabling ensuring seamless hardware network operations. You will work at client sites on high-security transport, and provide reports on daily activities.

The role requires experience with cables, tools, and data center environments, with travel as needed and a commitment to safety and professional client interaction.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to travel for business needs.
• Basic experience with hand and power tools.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Teams and email.
• Prior data center, logistics or construction experience preferred.
• Knowledge of network cabling and test equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at client sites with all required equipment and PPE.
• Cable server racks by patching fibre and copper cables where trained.
• Provide professional customer service at all times.
• Follow client procedures including safety and security.
• Communicate with colleagues and provide timely reports.
• Complete daily checklists and general admin tasks.
