Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Data Center Installer in Santa Clara to support high‑security transport, white‑glove delivery and technical support inside client data centers. You will install server racks, cabling and position equipment to build cloud infrastructure while maintaining safety and superior service.

Strong problem solving and organization are essential to succeed in this role. Your duties include arriving prepared, unloading equipment, routing cables, following procedures, and reporting

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 60–80 pounds with occasional up to 110 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and travel willingness.
• Experience with hand and power tools and structured cabling (fiber/copper).
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams.
• Willingness to work inside data centers and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at client sites on time with required equipment, uniform, procedures and PPE.
• Unload and unpack, position IT hardware and server racks.
• Cable server racks by patching and dressing fiber and copper cables.
• Provide professional customer service to clients and colleagues.
• Follow client procedures including health, safety and security.
• Communicate status updates to managers, planners and supervisors.
• Complete daily checklists and generate reports on activities.
• Perform other duties aligned with skills as needed.
