Jacobs is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support our data center project in Saint Francisville, LA. The role covers cost management, contract administration, measurement and valuation, project controls, procurement support, and risk management to ensure projects stay within budget and meet contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of quantity surveying, construction cost management, or commercial project experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and project cost management software.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Cost Management: Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and project forecasts; monitor expenditures; analyze performance; track variances.
• Contract Administration: Review contracts, prepare change orders, and support negotiations.
• Measurement and Valuation: Perform quantity takeoffs and value completed work; verify invoices; prepare payments.
• Project Controls and Reporting: Develop cost reports; provide financial updates; assist with risk assessments and audits.
• Procurement Support: Prepare bid packages; evaluate bids; support procurement records.
• Risk Management: Identify risks; propose mitigation; assist in disputes.
