Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support a data center project in Saint Francisville and surrounding sites. The role focuses on managing costs, contracts, and commercial risk to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality. Collaboration with PMs, engineers, suppliers and clients is essential.

You will prepare estimates, monitor spend, evaluate variances and produce commercial dashboards. Strong Excel and contract experience are required, along with excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 5+ years of quantity surveying or cost management experience.
• Experience with contracts, change orders, and project financials.
• Proficiency with Excel and cost-management software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor expenditures and enforce budgets.
• Review and administer contracts and change orders.
• Prepare payment applications and final accounts.
• Develop cost reports and commercial dashboards.
• Support risk assessments and forecasting activities.
