Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support a data center project in Saint Francisville, LA. The role focuses on managing all commercial and contractual aspects to deliver projects within budget and maximize profitability.

The candidate will work with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to control costs, perform takeoffs, value completed work, and support procurement and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 5+ years of quantity surveying or cost management experience.
• Experience with contracts, change orders, and project financials.
• Proficiency with Excel and cost management software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and project forecasts.
• Monitor expenditures and keep costs within budgets.
• Analyze performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Track and report cost variances across the project lifecycle.
• Review contracts, subcontracts, and purchase agreements.
• Prepare change orders, claims, and contract variations.
• Manage payments and final accounts.
