Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive execution of quality goals across data center manufacturing. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities include monitoring KPIs, leading continuous improvement with PFMEA and control plans, and reporting status to customers and leadership while ensuring timely containment of issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a quality engineering role in manufacturing.
• Structured problem-solving methodologies to resolve manufacturing and systemic issues.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to multi-task.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate across cultures.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution of quality goals and objectives to meet customer expectations.
• Identify root causes of product/process failures and drive corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using PFMEA, CP and ODS where applicable.
• Monitor KPIs (DPU, FPY, NCR) and report progress to leadership and customers.
• Maintain quality dashboards and ensure timely action closure.
