Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking a quality engineer to drive process improvements and ensure the highest quality of factory products. You will lead cross‑functional teams through PFMEA, APQP, and PPAP, aiming for zero defects and robust control plans across ISO 9001 environments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and hands-on experience with Six Sigma, 8D, Mistake Proofing, and SPC tools within manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Experience in ISO/TS manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of 8D, Six Sigma, Mistake Proofing and SPC tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead improvement of processes and products to achieve Zero Defects with pFMEA and robust control plans.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to reduce CoPQ and EPPM via root cause problem solving (8D, Six Sigma).
• Improve and sustain ISO 9001 QA systems including internal audits and supplier audits.
• Plan analysis, inspection, testing, and controls to ensure product quality meets specs.
• Lead APQP stage gates for new products/processes including PPAP.
• Maintain knowledge of government/industry quality standards for compliance.
