Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead external and internal quality initiatives within its Data Center Solutions group. The role focuses on driving corrective actions, analyzing KPIs, and promoting QMS/ISO standards across manufacturing processes.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 3–5 years in quality engineering, with strong problem‑solving skills and experience in SPC/DOE tools. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar.
• 3–5 years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Structured problem‑solving experience required.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS practices.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze customer KPIs to identify top offenders.
• Lead root cause investigations with cross‑functional teams.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions and containment.
• Update dashboards and status reports for product lines.
• Advocate for QMS compliance and ISO standards.
• Support NPI with PFMEA, CP, and ODS usage.
• Collaborate using SPC/DOE for CI activities.
