Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Data Center Quality Assurance Manager for on-site coordination in Denver, CO, to oversee inspection teams and ensure conformance with construction contracts.

Responsibilities include maintaining defect lists, tracking non-conformances, monitoring the quality program, and guiding corrective actions with the Owner to deliver the project.

Preferred candidates have extensive experience in construction quality management and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus eight years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• 15 years of experience with construction and/or quality management.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of inspectors reviewing workmanship, materials, and equipment for conformity with the construction contracts.
• Maintain a list of all defects and omissions.
• Maintain Non-Conformance Notice and Open Issues Log Reconciliation.
• Monitor the contractors’ quality program for conformance to the plan throughout construction.
• Notify CLIENT of test failures and plan corrective actions.
• Perform Punchlist oversight and participate in Zero Defect walkthrough.
• Reports critical issues to the Construction Management Lead and provides proper resolution.
• Provides input for weekly project reports and monthly progress reports.
• Serves as the direct point of contact for the Owner, ensuring project execution and communication.
• Summarize significant test results in progress reports.
• Verify tests are conducted as scheduled, witness tests, and retain test records.

Education

BA/BS + eight years of relevant experience

15 years of construction/quality management experience

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture
