Job summary

SPX Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Proposal Manager - Data Centers to lead commercial proposal development, pricing, and post-award activities in support of the Global Account Management team.

Collaborating with Account Managers, engineers, project managers, and other cross-functional teams, you will develop customer-facing proposals, coordinate commercial deliverables, and ensure accurate handoffs into execution for complex data center projects.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in proposal management, estimating, project management, sales support, HVAC, mechanical systems, data center infrastructure.
• Experience developing commercial proposals and customer quotations.
• Strong commercial aptitude, financial and business acumen, and cost-estimating and pricing experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgetary and firm proposals for equipment, services, and aftermarket opportunities.
• Support Account Managers with proposal strategy, pricing development, and customer quotation activities.
• Prepare customer-facing proposal documents, qualifications, assumptions, commercial clarifications, RFQ and RFP responses, and bid submissions.
• Manage proposal revisions, customer follow-up requests, and uploads to customer procurement and bidding portals.
• Manage customer supplier registration and vendor onboarding portals, including maintaining company profiles, submitting required documentation, and monitoring registration and renewal requirements.
• Assume accountability for proposal quality, accuracy, responsiveness, and submission deadlines.
