Job summary

The W.E. Bowers Group, a Legence company, is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Project Manager based in the Maryland area. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a large data center construction project, mentoring assistant project managers, and ensuring effective communication with contractors.

This in-field position requires at least 5 years of mechanical project management experience and offers a salary range of $100,000 - $155,000 along with robust benefits including health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical construction project management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to walk long distances, stand for extended periods of time, and traverse different types of terrain and elevations.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs from different levels.
• Data center project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and manage assistant project managers.
• Communicate and coordinate with the general contractor and owner’s representatives.
• Procure material and equipment as required.
• Manage project costs and the estimated budget.
• Manage project schedule to ensure meeting project milestones and completion date requirements.
• Manage RFI and submittal processes.
• Prepare budget projections and control costs.
