Job summary

W.E. Bowers is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This in-field position based in the DMV area will help drive the delivery of construction projects, including data centers and medical facilities.

The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of mechanical construction project management experience and strong communication skills. A competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $130,000, along with excellent benefits, is being offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical construction project management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to walk long distances, stand for extended periods of time, and traverse different types of terrain and elevations.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs from different levels.
• Data center project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in all aspects of the project.
• Communicate and coordinate with the general contractor.
• Write purchase orders for material and equipment as required.
• Manage RFI process.
• Manage submittal process and log.
• Attend client project meetings.
