Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is seeking a Project Manager for fast-track data center and mission-critical projects. This on-site role supports delivery across Ashburn, VA and other on-site locations, partnering with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

You will own scope, schedule, and budget, coordinate technical execution, ensure safety and quality, and maintain stakeholder communications, with travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 4-6 years of project management experience in data centers, industrial, mission‑critical, or equivalent construction environments.
• Experience coordinating project scope, schedule, budget, contractors, and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of mission‑critical building systems including electrical, mechanical, cooling, and critical power infrastructure.
• Experience supporting construction, commissioning, testing, turnover, or related project activities within active operational environments.
• Proficiency with project management, scheduling, and financial tracking tools.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work effectively across clients, contractors, vendors, and technical teams.
• Availability to travel up to 50% overall, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute project delivery activities through planning, execution, and closeout phases to deliver scope on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain and update project plans, schedules, budgets, and reporting to support forecasting and milestone tracking.
• Track and document project financials, change orders, and contract deliverables to support performance and compliance.
• Identify project risks to senior PM for mitigation strategy, development, and issue resolution.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for clients, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders; maintain clear communication.
• Build and maintain relationships to support collaboration and client satisfaction.
• Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder coordination.
• Coordinate planned site activities with subcontractors and vendors to support execution.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support constructability reviews and readiness.
• Align execution with design requirements and regulatory standards.
• Review field progress and contractor activities to ensure quality and readiness.
• Coordinate resolution of technical and site-related issues.
