Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead on-site construction activities for new data centers. You will drive cost, schedule, and quality while coordinating with vendors and contractors to build industry-leading facilities.

• Experience managing construction projects in data centers or critical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience collaborating with general contractors and scheduling.
• Ability to analyze costs, schedules, and quality metrics.

Responsibilities

• Direct interface with construction general contractors throughout bid, award, execution, and closeout.
• Conduct negotiations with general contractors and evaluate bids with detail and accuracy.
• Create construction project scope and RFPs.
• Perform financial analysis of construction.
• Manage projects to increase data center resiliency.
• Review electrical and mechanical designs for constructability.
• Manage construction documents, submittals, RFIs, changes, invoicing.
• Ensure construction quality control.
• Record and report key construction metrics.
