Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Ohio is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead construction projects for new data centers. You will own scope, quality, schedule, and budget while coordinating with general contractors and internal teams to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field and US Citizenship. The role requires on-site work in New Albany, OH, with a focus on managing complex MEP

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
US Citizenship is required.
Experience with large-scale data centers and MEP systems.
Knowledge of building codes and Life Safety, NEC, NFPA or OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee construction project management for new builds or capital projects, including scope, quality, schedule, and budget.
Interface with construction general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and closeout.
Negotiate bids and evaluate proposals with accuracy.
Create construction project scope and RFPs.
Perform financial analysis of construction.
Manage projects to increase data center resiliency.
Review constructability of electrical and mechanical designs for new or optimized data centers.
Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.
Ensure quality control and report key metrics.
Lead teams and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
