Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to serve as the technical information source on construction documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders. You will respond to drawings and change orders and support field engineers.

This role progresses through three steps (I, II, Senior) with increasing responsibilities. Responsibilities include developing procurement and CPM schedules, coordinating submittals, maintaining close-out documents, and supervising project team members to ensure

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology and codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to supervise and train Field Engineer positions if needed.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply the project management plan (PMP) and change management processes.
• Develop procurement and CPM schedules; coordinate submittals and reviews.
• Manage contract documents, budgets, and change orders; ensure cost control.
• Maintain As-built records and close-out requirements.
• Assist in concrete form design and takeoffs for materials.
• Plan, develop and supervise project team members to ensure execution.
• Prepare quantity reports, meeting minutes, and project logs.
• Review and submit change orders; communicate with owners and subcontractors.
• Identify and mitigate potential claims timely.
