Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to serve as the technical information source on projects, coordinating drawings, specifications, submittals, and change orders. You will support field engineers, manage team members, and help ensure project goals are achieved.

Role includes progressing through steps I to Senior as experience grows, with emphasis on communication, planning and adherence to project plans and budgets.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering tech, codes, and standards.
• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent training with 3–4 years of experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to supervise Field Engineer positions.

Responsibilities

• Understand PM plans and change management for successful project execution.
• Develop procurement schedules and coordinate submittals with trades.
• Understand contract documents and budget controls; assist cost management.
• Maintain as-built documents and close-out requirements.
• Participate in concrete form design and takeoffs.
• Plan, develop and supervise project team to ensure relentless execution.
