Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to serve as the technical information source on the project, with thorough knowledge of construction documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders. You will coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, and may assist in supervising Field Engineers.

The role progresses through Steps I, II, and Senior as skills grow. Ideal candidates bring a four-year construction-related degree and 3–4 years of construction

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Should have the skill/ability to supervise and/or train Field Engineer positions if so required.
• Minimum 3–4 years of construction engineering experience with related education or training.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates an understanding of the project management plan and change management process.
• Develops procurement schedule and integrates with the project CPM schedule; coordinates submittals.
• Maintains As-built documents and compiles close-out requirements including manuals and warranties.
• Prepares and reviews change orders and maintains change-order log; assists with cost control budget adjustments.
• Participates in takeoffs and may assist with concrete form design and related equipment selection.
