Frederick Fox LLC in Forsyth, GA seeks a Senior Project Accountant / Project Accounting Manager for a large data center construction project. Initially hybrid in Atlanta, transitioning to on-site in Forsyth in January 2027, leading two Project Accountants and owning project finance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive construction project accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction accounting practices.
• Experience with job costing, AIA billing, retainage, lien waivers, and payments.
• Knowledge of WIP reporting, cost-to-complete forecasting, and project reporting.
• Experience with construction ERP software.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on-site in Forsyth, GA from January 2027.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations for a major project.
• Lead and mentor a small team of Project Accountants.
• Manage project setup in the ERP: budgets, cost codes, commitments, subs.
• Prepare and review monthly owner billings and AIA schedules.
• Review subcontractor payments, retainage, lien waivers, docs.
• Monitor budgets, job costs, changes, commitments, and performance.
• Prepare cost-to-complete forecasts and WIP reports with PMs.
• Oversee AP, invoice coding, vendor compliance, and subcontract docs.
• Manage month-end activities: accruals, journal entries, reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, billing, collections, and overall financials.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, contracts, and controls.
• Serve as a financial resource to project leadership and accounting.
