Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking a Project Director to lead the delivery of a next-generation data center campus in Forsyth, Georgia, coordinating pre-development through handover. This senior role requires guiding budget, schedule, risk, and team performance to meet investor expectations.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in construction or development management, a proven hyperscale data center track record, and strong stakeholder and contract-management skills.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in construction or development project management.
• Experience delivering hyperscale or mission-critical data center projects.
• Strong understanding of data center MEP systems, power infrastructure and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of a large-scale data center campus from pre-development to handover.
• Lead the project’s budget, schedule and risk, and report progress to senior leadership and investors.
• Appoint and manage general contractors, design teams, MEP engineers and specialist consultants.
• Work with utility providers on power, water and fiber, and keep long-lead equipment procurement on track.
• Manage entitlements, permitting and relationships with local authorities and community stakeholders.
• Work closely with hyperscale and enterprise end users to meet their technical requirements and delivery dates.
• Drive quality, safety and commissioning standards across a fast-track, phased program.
• Build and lead a project team as the data center platform grows.
