Meta is seeking a forward thinking engineer to join the Production Operations team within our Data Centers. These Data Centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently operates and upon which our innovative services are delivered.

This role focuses on IT with technical skills in server hardware and Linux, preferably in a data center environment. You will contribute to hardware repairs, OS management, tooling and automation, networking, and technical project

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Linux and server hardware support.
• Experience with debugging hardware and OS related issues.
• Familiarity with networking, scripting, and OS repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work within Meta's ticketing system.
• First point of contact for break fix technicians.
• Assist with projects and repairs across the data center.
• Understand and debug hardware and Linux OS issues.
• Create documentation for the global data center knowledge base.
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices in data center operations.
• Participate in monthly on-call rotation.
