Job summary

Digital Realty Trust is seeking a Preconstruction Manager for Dallas with responsibility for preconstruction support across North America. You will coordinate with Project Managers, Procurement, Sales Engineers, Clientele, Consultants, Contractors and Vendors to optimize budgets and constructability on development projects.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree and 5–7 years in data center/preconstruction, plus strong Excel and leadership skills to guide internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5–7 years minimum experience in data center/preconstruction.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and construction systems.

Responsibilities

• Review standards for cost savings and constructability and support changes.
• Review project drawings for technical content, pricing and constructability.
• Lead cost review meetings with acquisitions, portfolio management, sales, design and construction.
• Establish and update budgets for potential development projects.
• Follow market trends and maintain deep relationships with GC partners.
• Create in-house budgets and liaise with general contractor partners.
• Provide cost-related issue resolution on active projects.
