Digital Realty is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead cost, budgeting, and constructability efforts for North American data center projects. You will coordinate with acquisitions, design, and construction teams to optimize budgets, push for standardization, and drive innovation in preconstruction practices.

The role requires 5–7 years in data center construction, strong leadership, and mastery of MS Office, with the ability to manage multiple projects across a broad portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 7–10 years of progressive management experience in design and construction.
• Experience in data centers or mission critical facilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and teamwork within a discipline.

Responsibilities

• Review cost savings opportunities and constructability standards.
• Review project drawings for content, pricing and constructability.
• Lead cost review meetings with internal stakeholders.
• Establish and update budgets for development projects.
• Monitor market trends and maintain GC partner relationships.
• Create budgets and liaise with partners on budget developments.
• Oversee risk management, process optimization, and schedule governance.
