Job summary

Digital Realty Trust, L.P. seeks a Senior Construction Manager in Dallas, TX to oversee all phases of data center construction from greenfield development through commissioning.

You will lead contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure projects meet time, budget, and DLR Design Standards. You will report to the Director of Delivery and manage schedules, budgets, and complex stakeholder coordination across regional assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive management experience in design and construction, ideally with data centers or similar environments.
• Experience managing multi-country projects and delivering large developments.
• Familiarity with schedule governance, collaborative planning, and workflow optimization.
• Experience in continuous process improvement and managing KPIs/metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead Build-to-Suit projects and coordinate with design teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Manage multiple concurrent construction projects with schedules and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with DLR standards and project delivery processes.
• Serve as primary customer contact for Build-to-Suit projects.
• Conduct site visits, audits, and issue resolution.
• Evaluate RFPs and negotiate contracts with vendors.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and communicate updates to stakeholders.
