Job summary

INNIO Group’s Jenbacher BU is seeking a New Units Business Development Manager for Data Centers and Power Generation in the U.S. region.

You will identify opportunities, develop strategies, and build relationships with end users, developers, EPCs, and consulting engineers to expand market presence. The role requires travel about 50%, collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams, and the ability to influence project outcomes early in the development cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Commercial experience in sales or business development in power generation.
• Strong customer network in the data center industry.
• Willingness to travel ~50% for meetings and events.
• Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities in data center and power generation within the region.
• Build and execute regional strategies to grow market share and expand presence with customers.
• Increase product visibility through events, conferences, and customer meetings.
• Strengthen relationships with end users, developers, EPCs, engineers, and partners.
• Engage early in project cycles to influence specifications and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to develop value propositions.
• Support order intake by building an opportunity pipeline and progressing qualified deals.
