Job summary

JLL is seeking a capable Project Manager to lead data center and mission-critical projects. You will oversee day-to-day delivery, coordinate with clients and vendors, and ensure on-time, on-budget execution with safety at the forefront.

The role requires 3–5 years in construction or facilities management, a strong grasp of mechanical/electrical systems, and proficiency with Procore and MS Project. Expect up to 80% onsite work and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in construction, facilities, or project management; data center experience preferred
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and building systems fundamentals
• Experience coordinating with contractors, vendors, and supporting procurement/RFP processes
• Familiarity with construction documentation, scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills; ability to manage multiple priorities on concurrent projects
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, MS Office, MS Project, Procore, and similar tools
• Willingness to work extensively on active construction sites (up to 80% onsite) and travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Execute project delivery activities through planning, execution and closeout phases
• Maintain project plans, schedules, and track milestones; elevate risks to leadership
• Manage meetings, milestones, site visits, actions; support communications with clients and vendors
• Coordinate closeout deliverables including as-builts and manuals
• Identify project risks and assist with mitigation planning and issue resolution
• Track and manage project financials, change orders, and contract deliverables
• Coordinate vendor onboarding, purchase orders, contract records, and compliance documents
• Support RFP and procurement activities including bid coordination & vendor documentation
• Facilitate schedule execution through milestone tracking across teams and vendors
• Support field QA/QC, commissioning coordination, and contractor activities for milestones
• Promote site safety and act as a point of contact for client and project stakeholders
• Prepare progress reports, presentations, and briefing materials with leadership
